October Events
  • Physical fitness test for all B-day flights will be Friday October 14 and Friday October 21 for all A-day flights.....these tests consist of the shuttle run, mile, 90 degree push-up, sit ups, and v-sit and reach. Good luck cadets.
  • Next mandatory group staff meeting will be Wednesday October 19 at 3:45

  • On october 29, the Virginia Western Football Classic will be held at William Fleming's Stadium. All Color Guard members will need to be at the school in the ROTC room by 12:15 to present colors.
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the Cadets of the Month Seth Nieves and Myesha Logan.

November Events
  • November 4, the Color Guard will need to attend the football game with PH to present colors.
  • November 8, will be a 2 hour early dismissal due to parent teacher conferences.
  • November 11, will be the Veterans Day Ceremony, all classes will attend.
  • November 14,all cadets that are willing to volunteer from 5-9pm at Golden Corral for communtity service hours to help serve meals to veterans. Talk to c/Col Dequan Saunders for more information about this event. You will be fed. THANKS!
  • November 23, will be a 2 hour early dismissal.
  • November 24, we will need volunteers for the Drumstick Dash 5K Race,you will act as race marshalls for the race.
  • Thanksgiving break will be November 23-27, and all students will return that Monday,28.

December Events
  • December 2, all cadets on teams (Color Guard, Drill Team, and Rifle Team) will need to meet at the Salem Ice Cream Parlor by 5:45.
  • December 7 &8, all cadets that would like to can bring in a toy at a value of 5 dollars or more for 150 points or wear their uniforms for 100 points.
  • December 9, ALL CADETS will need to attend the Roanoke Christmas Parade be at the hospital by 5:45.
  • December 15, ALL CADETS in uniform will be dismissed from their A3 classes to march in Drill Comp. THIS IS YOUR SEMESTER EXAM!
  • December 21, early dismissal for all students.

January Events
  • December 11 &12, picture day (make sure you wear your unifrom)
  • December 13, early dismissal for all students.
  • December 16, observed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
  • December 17, Sevice Day (no school)
February Events
  • February 14, Valentines Day (tell that special someone that you love them)
  • February 20, Presidents Day (no school)
